Chinese gadget maker Xiaomi has scheduled a media event for March 31, which is expected to see the unveiling of a number of new devices. In addition to a new midrange smartphone, recent reports have indicated that Xiaomi’s first smartwatch could be on the way.

Xiaomi has already launched a bunch of new devices this year, including the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro, the Redmi 2, the Mi Pad, and a 40-inch Mi TV 2.

But based on the wording of the company’s announcements, “it looks like we’ll see more than one new product making its debut next week,” AndroidCentral reports.

A recent leak suggests one of Xiaomi’s new products is an impressive midrange smartphone codenamed Ferrari, which features a 4.9-inch Full HD display, a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The device is expected to be Xiaomi’s first smartphone that ships with the company’s latest MIUI operating system based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

Other reports have promised us a new “Mi Watch” that hopes to take on the Apple Watch and Android Wear devices — plus a second-generation Mi Band with an improved design and built-in NFC for one-touch connectivity.

We’ll be following Xiaomi’s event on March 31, so keep an eye on AndroidBeat for all the announcements as they break.
