On August 14, Motorola sent out invites for a media event taking place on September 4, where the company promised the reveal of the Moto X+1 (the new Moto X), the Moto G2, and more information regarding the Moto 360 Android Wear-based wearable. A new series of leaked images has surfaced showcasing the Moto 360’s main unit, sans a strap to wrap around a wrist, and pocketed into a familiar wireless charging cradle.
The images were surfaced by WearWizard, and showcase the Moto 360 in its charging cradle, with some images showing the display being on, and others with just a black screen. The images are pretty straightforward, and show off a blue-hued Moto 360 at varying angles. This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the Moto 360 in such a fashion, as images leaked of the device in its charging cradle at the start of August.
The event, which is taking place today, is reportedly being done behind closed doors, so there might not actually be a lot of information that makes it out today. In a strange twist, Motorola is actually going to have a live Q&A event tomorrow, September 5, where it’s being reported that Motorola will reveal more information, especially about the Moto X+1.
