Google today announced on its Inside Search blog that it is bringing simultaneous support for up to five languages in Google Now.

Google Now already supports more than 50 different languages, but users could only dictate their voice command in one language. After today’s update, users can head over to Google Now -> Settings -> Voice -> Languages and specify their primary and secondary languages, and can then issue voice commands in those languages to Google.

Depending on your language, Google will also reply back to you in the same language provided that it has support for it. There is a slight catch though; Users cannot change the language of their sentence mid-way. For now, a voice command must be in one language only.

Do make sure to update your Google Search app to the latest version (v3.6) to enjoy this new feature from Google.
