Google has been continuously making it easier and faster for users to do a Google Search and get relevant answers on smartphones. With the unified search box in Google Now, it is possible to get the answers to your questions in less than 30 seconds.

Nevertheless, it looks like Google is set to take things to a new level with its new ‘Answers in suggest’ feature in Chrome. This new feature will allow users to get answers to some of the commonly asked questions in no time. Answers in suggest has not been officially announced by Google and right now only exists as an experimental flag in Chrome for Android. So it is very well possible that Google might just scrap this feature altogether, though chances of that happening are pretty bleak.

Once this experimental flag is enabled in Chrome, typing any question in the Chrome omni box will automatically return its answer in the drop down list.

To enable this new experimental flag in Chrome for Android, follow the steps below.

Step 1: In a new tab, head over to ‘chrome://flags’.

Step 2: Scroll (way) down and find the ‘Answers in Suggest’ flag and ‘enable’ it from its ‘default’ state.

Make sure to restart Chrome for Android after enabling this new flag. The flag is present in the latest version of Chrome as well as Chrome Beta for Android.

Keep in mind that this new experimental feature only works for basic questions, whose answers are already present in Google’s Knowledge Graph.
