In January last year, Google acquired the team behind Timely — a beautiful alarm clock for Android. Post the acquisitions, the Timely team went completely missing and seemingly abandoned the app as it did not receive a single update over the last one year.
It looks like the Timely team seems to have woken up from their hibernation though and have released a major new update for the app that adds some much requested features to it. This includes the ability to set your own alarm sound and Google Now integration that will allow you to directly set alarms in Timely by issuing voice commands to Google’s Voice Actions.
