Google today officially released its Twitch competitor: YouTube Gaming. For now, the company has only released the Android app of the service, with the web portal slated to go live later today.
An iOS app for the service will also be released later today.
The Android app of YouTube Gaming will allow users to watch videos of more than 25,000 games and take part in live streams of other gamers playing games and chat with other viewers.
Featuring videos and live streams with chat — including let’s plays, reviews, speedruns, trailers, and more from your favorite gamers and publishers — you can explore the games you care about more deeply than ever before.
With videos covering Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto, League of Legends, Call of Duty, Garry’s Mod, and tens of thousands more, it’s all on YouTube Gaming.

Gamers interested in posting content on YouTube Gaming will be able to stream their content at 60FPS and will also have the ability to save their live stream as a regular video on YouTube.
