According to a senior analyst at IHD Technology, Samsung will apparently use a ‘dual-edged’ screen on the Galaxy S6 that will take advantage of the company’s flexible YOUM displays.

We have already seen Samsung announce the Galaxy Note Edge with a screen that curves to its right edge at IFA this year. The analyst mentions that Samsung’s initial plan was to launch the Galaxy Note Edge with a ‘dual-edged’ screen all along but it decided to slope the screen towards the right edge only later on.

While the Galaxy S6 is still a at least 5-6 months away from its official unveiling, rumors about the handset have already started making their way to the Internet. Besides the ‘dual-edged’ display, the Galaxy S6 is rumored to come with a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, a 16 or 20MP camera with OIS and a 5MP front-facing shooter. Apparently, the company has gone back to the drawing board for the Galaxy S6 and is internally calling the handset ‘Project Zero.’

The handset is almost certain to have an improved quality with a metallic rim as seen in recent devices from Samsung including the Galaxy Alpha, Note 4 and the recently unveiled Galaxy A series of handsets.
