To be honest, the Galaxy S4 currently has the best camera on Android (apart from the rather bulbous and chunky S4 Zoom). But it’s not perfect.

What’s really needed is something relatively normal yet with a great camera, plus Xenon flash. Bit like a Nokia Lumia 808 or 1020 but with Android. I can dream….

In reply to plunder. I sold the S4 Zoom (once I'd done all my reviews/comparisons) because I decided that, decent though it was, it wouldn't be a 'classic' device that I hung onto. So I sold early, while the resale price was still good 8-)

Some interesting notes in point 1. Anything that gets the camera up fast is a plus. I still wonder why you sold the Galaxy Zoom so quickly. Other fish to fry?

Outdoors in daylight I always note the sky state. The ratio of direct to scattered light makes a huge difference, so do strong cloud colours. I remember a hard slate grey sky that inspired me to run to a quarry by a man made fishing lake – with good results. That was medium format E6; but light quality makes a huge difference.
