How To Take Screenshot in MIUI 9 on Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4, and Redmi 5A
Method 1: Press and hold the Volume Down + Power button on your Redmi handset. After a second, a screenshot should be automatically taken and a small preview of it will be displayed.
You can tap on this preview to quickly edit the screenshot or share it with your friends.
Method 2: You can also quickly take a screenshot in MIUI 9 using a three finger swipe down gesture. On any screen, simply swipe down on the display with free fingers and a screenshot will be automatically taken.
Method 3: An even simpler way to take a screenshot on MIUI 9 is to use the Screenshot tile in Quick Settings. Simply expand the Quick Settings panel and tap the Screenshot button. Wait for a second and a screenshot will be automatically taken.
How To Take Long Screenshot in MIUI 9
You can also take a long screenshot in MIUI 9 which essentially allows you to merge multiple screenshots vertically. This is a handy feature to have when you are trying to take a screenshot of a long list.
To take a long screen, you have to take a regular screenshot using one of the two methods mentioned above. Then, when the screenshot preview shows up, tap on it and select the Scroll option. MIUI will automatically start scrolling down in the list for you and add it to the screenshot. To stop it at any time, press the Done button.
