Samsung Gear S now available in the U.S. as pricing gets finalized

The Gear S was announced in August of 2014, a wearable with a cellular connection inside of it, and now the smart gadget is available in the United States through several carriers.

Samsung has officially launched the Gear S within the United States, more than a couple of months after it was first unveiled. Samsung’s smart wearable is now being sold from AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. T-Mobile has confirmed it will launch the gadget on November 9. The pricing breaks down as such:

  • AT&T: $199.99 with a new, two-year agreement. $299.99 sans contract. Eligible to be added to AT&T’s Mobile Share plan for $10 per month.
  • Verizon: $349.99 with a new, two-year agreement. $399.99 full retail price. Can be added to Verizon’s More Everything for $5 per month.
  • Sprint: $0 down, with 24 monthly payments of $16. $384.99 full retail pricing. Can be added to Sprint’s Family Share plan for $10 per month.
  • T-Mobile: $0 down, with 24 monthly payments of $14.58. $349.92 full retail pricing.
  • Samsung’s Gear S is also available through Best Buy, if you prefer the big box retailer for your carrier needs.
