I do get the argument for them, but for me they’ll only ever be an option if/when they get to a minimum of a fortnights battery. Having bought a galaxy note I’m reasonably happy with the ‘get through any day’ battery but even with that I still miss the ol’ 5800 with its 3-4 heavy day use life (unless you use sat-nav of course). Charging daily does annoy me.

Depends on how often you use them and how convenient they are to you. Given my scenarios explained above, it made sense financially. But a ~$100 watch would certainly break the barrier for many more users.

My main issue is the price, and while I understand these watches can’t be more cheap since they are a new product category, I just don’t see a reason to spend $200 on one. I got the Galaxy Gear for free, otherwise even that would never have been in my possession, haha.
