Lenovo today unveiled a revamped version of its Yoga Tablet 10 that it had originally unveiled back in October last year. The new tablet, dubbed Yoga Tablet 10 HD+, comes with some major under-the-hood changes while still retaining the flexibility and design of the original.
While the screen size on the new Yoga tablet remains the same in size at 10-inches, the company has bumped up the resolution to a much more acceptable 1920*1200. It has also upgraded the internals from a MediaTek processor to a faster 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor. Other changes include 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
At the back of the tablet is an 8MP shooter accompanied by a 1.6MP camera in the front for all your video calling needs. Lenovo has retained the flexible kick stand and aluminum construction of the original tablet along with its Dolby Advanced Audio speakers.
The beefy 9000mAh battery should make sure that the Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ last a day of heavy usage even when browsing over 3G. While the tablet will come with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, Lenovo has promised to update it to KitKat down the line. It has also added its own suite of apps, dubbed DOit, that includes SHAREit, SECUREit, SYNCit, SNAPit, and SEEit.
The Yoga Tablet 10 HD+ will be available across all major retailers in the United States starting from April for only $349.
