You need to fill in all the options – ip address, mask, gateway, etc. as well as DNS.

If your router is at 192.168.1.1 (most are) you need to find an address that is outside of your DHCP scope and that isn’t being used. You can usally find this info in your router admin pages.

For example: my router is at 192.168.0.1 and my DHCP scope starts at 192.168.0.50 to 192.168.0.100.

My android phone is set to:

Adress: 192.168.0.200
Mask: 255.255.255.0
DNS1: 192.168.0.1

Change your DNS in your router instead of your phone then you don’t need to worry.

My ipad, laptop and smart TV load up just fine. Anyone else who comes over doesn’t have a problem. I got a replacement phone yesterday because Verizon thought it could be the phone but same thing is happening to the new phone. My phone loads just fine at work but it’s via a different server. I loaded a DNset app on my phone last night at it flew through Web pages with lightning speed. But how safe is it to have a dns app running your wifi? Can my info be breached? Will I get viruses?

However, if I switch mobile data off and Wi-Fi on, then I cannot connet to the internet in any web browser, even though i have a Skype call running without any connection errors.
If I do get a website loaded, then I can click most links on the website without issues. But, if I navigate to a different website, then I get a no network error page again.
I am sure this is DNS related.
I have the latest updates installed on my phone. This phone is new and not even two weeks old.
Any idea how to fix this frustrating issue?
