Hi, thanks for your really detailed review. Appreciate the time and effort it took. I have a question about taking pics. How did you get those macro shots please? The ones with the sharp foreground and blurry background? Been wanting to learn how to do that for ages. Thanks much!

Lovely Phone just what the review fails to mention is the usage of the internal memory being used to 70%. The other issue you would say oh but you can add SD card yes you can and I have a 64GB the problem is that the samsung apps can not be moved to SD so this space is only for pictures documents video which is a shame. On the camara I have to say best phone camera wise that I ever owned top quality !

Great review – first time I’ve read your stuff here and good to see! As an Android novice who’s trying to help a normob, how does the latest android fair on closing apps once multi-tasked? Said friend currently has an SGS3 mini and has been bitten somewhat by the smartphone bug – nothing to do with me honest! When I looked it seemed to be a massive deep dive into settings to close apps, after pointing out that holding the menu key only brings up recent apps and doesn’t actually close them when you swipe… Also, how does the Nokia 1020 fair at macro shots vs the S4?

Another bad thing about the s4, it’s fragile. Except the one I had.. It was dropped hard against concrete and only the OLED screen broke. Glass was fine, and then I did some tests with it and hit a wooden gun I made against it pretty hard. a few times. Its still not broken, but I’m using my brothers old phone which cracked after he threw it against a wall – once. I dunno what it is but some are unbreakable and others break if dust lands on it.

In reply to stevelitchfield. ok so the S4 camera is better than the 808 in some situations and worse in others i think is what you are saying. so which camera is better depends on what you take photos of. got it!

i actually watched your long vid review before.any diff with this 1?kinda amazed your written review actually covers almost evrything in your long vid review!both are good nevertheless!i tested out an s4 yesterday and was kinda amazed that the advertised features actually work surprisingly well and smooth.and the scroll worked with glasses on!
