After the disappointing sales of Galaxy S5, a lot depends on the Galaxy S6 for Samsung. Rumors and leaks indicate that the company has gone back to the drawing board for its 2015 flagship with the S6 being internally called ‘Project Zero.

Up until now, we have only seen some alleged images of the metal chassis of the Galaxy S6 and its purported specs leaking on the Internet. Today, the folks behind Nowhere Else are back with more comprehensive images of the alleged all-metal chassis that Samsung will be using on its upcoming flagship handset.

The images show a cut-out in the metal frame at the top and bottom. The former seems to be for the camera and the LED flash, which is where Samsung has traditionally placed the camera on its devices, while the one on the bottom seems to be for the radios.

The Galaxy S6 is rumored to come with a 5.2 or 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3/4GB RAM and a 16MP camera with OIS.

Samsung has always stuck to plastic for its devices but the recent loss of momentum of its smartphone division forced it to switch to a new design language — as evident from the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4. The metal mid-frame greatly improves the in-hand feel and overall durability of the devices. If the leaked images are anything to go by though, Samsung will go a step further and switch to an all metal body for its 2015 flagship.
