Even though the full manual of the Verizon Droid Turbo made its way to the Internet last week, not much is known about the device. That chances today as the full specs and key features of the device has been revealed by the folks over at Android Central.

As pointed out by the rumors, the Droid Turbo will feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, and a 21MP camera. The handset’s design seems to be inspired from the previous Droid and includes a Kevlar back that offers a smooth finish.

As per the marketing materials sent to Android Central, the Droid Turbo will be made of “metallized glass fiber” and will be able to withstand up to 20mins in a regular downpour.

On the software side, the Droid Turbo will be running on Android 4.4 KitKat, though the marketing material does not explicitly mentions that. The handset will also offer features like Moto Voice, Moto Assist and Moto Display — that has long been appreciated by reviewers and Moto X owners alike.

Motorola states that the 3900mAh battery inside the Droid Turbo should be more than enough to last two days on a single charge. As a bonus though, the company has also baked in support for its Turbo charger on the handset, which will allow the handset to provide an additional 8 hours of runtime with only 15mins of charging.

With specs and features like this, the Droid Turbo is shaping up to be the most impressive phone released this year. Unlike the new Moto X, the handset seems to pack in next-gen specs with an all-day battery life and useful software features.
