A few images and a video of the Galaxy Note 4 running Android 5.0 Lollipop have already made their way to the Internet last month. The folks over at SamMobile are now back with another preview, but this time around the Lollipop firmware for the Note 4 is based on Android 5.0.1.
The latest firmware from Samsung only contains some minor UI tweaks and changes compared to the last firmware that was previewed on video. The only notable inclusion here is Ambient Display — which automatically turns on the display for a brief period of time to display any unread notifications when the user picks up the device.

SamMobile has also uploaded a video showing Android 5.0.1 Lollipop on the Galaxy Note Edge, which looks similar to how Lollipop looks on the Note 4. The company has, however, updated the software to take advantage of the edge screen on the device to display more information and relevant settings in certain system apps.

Samsung has already started rolling out the Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5, though it is only limited to Poland currently. The company is expected to start a wider rollout by the end of this year with the Note 4 getting some Lollipop love in Q1 of next year.
It was only yesterday that a beta Android 5.0 firmware for the Galaxy Note 3 had made its way to the Internet.
