In August, Audi unveiled its Skysphere concept EV that took our breath away, and now get ready to feast your eyes upon the second model of the concept car series, the Grandsphere. Because, BOY, it’s absolutely stunning.
Just take a look at this video:
The Gransphere is described by Audi as “the private jet for the road,” and is a 5.35 meter long electric sedan.

Credit: Audi The car’s exterior was created to encapsulate all the characteristics of a four-door GT, instead of looking like a traditional sedan.
Credit: Audi The Grandshpere also features Audi’s new light signature. Both head and rear lights reference the four rings brand logo by enlarging and isolating the intersection of two rings into a pupil.
Credit: Audi The interior’s adjustable based on the preferred driving mode.
When in Level 4 automated driving mode, the interior turns into a spacious lounge, without a steering wheel, pedals, or displays.
Credit: Audi Of course, manual driving with a steering wheel is also possible.

Credit: Audi Depending on the driving mode, the digital commands can be accessed with eye tracking, gesture or voice control, handwritten input, or touch.
Credit: Audi Especially during automated driving mode, projection surfaces can also be used as CinemaScope screens for infotainment content. And here’s another plus: the infotainment system accesses the passengers’ most recently used services and resumes them inside the car — a video streaming on a tablet, for instance.

Well, there you have it.
What the Grasphere shows, as much as the Skysphere, is that future (luxury) vehicles will no longer be just about driving, but about experience .
The third and last concept car of Audi’s series, the Urbansphere, will be revealed in 2022, and I definitely can’t wait.
In the meantime, below you can find the Grandsphere’s unveil video:
